A crisis can strike at any moment. It’s crucial to have an effective crisis management plan in place to respond to potential threats and manage the crisis in real time.
The cockpit door automatically locks, but a keypad outside allows a flight attendant to insert a security code to gain access. A buzzer sounds, and the pilots must switch the door control inside the cockpit to “unlock” to release the door after verifying the crew member through a peephole or video surveillance.
Airports are busy places where thousands of people cross paths daily. And with so many travelers passing through, it’s no surprise that security checkpoints often come across some weird things at the airport.
